Our Outcomes
The assessment data that we are publishing on this page relates to the academic year of 2022/2023.
The data reported below, contains 2 figures for each of the statutory testing years. Within our school, there are a number of children who are working out of age-related expectations and are supported within our ARP. Whilst they continue to make steps of progress within their own levels, this is not accurately depicted in the statutory data. Therefore, it can be useful to see both sets of outcomes.

End of Reception Year
The ‘statutory framework for the early years foundation stage’ became effective in September 2021. As part of this documentation, children are now assessed at the end of their time in Reception against the early learning goals. Children either meet the expected standard or are not yet reaching the expected standard (emerging). There is no longer an ‘exceeding’ statement.

77% of all Year One children reached the threshold pass mark for the year 1 phonics check and the average score achieved by year 1 children was 35/40. This is a very strong outcome and validation of the school’s approach to the teaching of phonics.
The cumulative score for children in Year 2 achieving the threshold for meeting the expected threshold pass mark was as follows:
Year Two (including ARP) |
Year Two (excluding ARP) |
